Many Chinese resident already got hands over the Xiaomi latest mid-range Android smartphone, the Mi4C. Currently the device is available exclusively in China starting from 1299 Yuan (US$204).
People who are looking to buy Mi4c or already purchased Mi4c will have a question popping-up on their mind. Does Xiaomi Mi4c survive a fall? By the way who doesn’t wants their new smartphone to be tougher to survive from unnecessary falls. To let you know, the Mi4c includes a 5-inch FHD IPS fully laminated 441 PPI Sunlight display.
So, to make their minds clear here we have a Mi4c drop test video from “Re-Test” Youtube channel. Here the phone has undergone the test with three different levels- Pocket height (1m), shoulders height (1.5m) and above head height (2m). The handset was successful in the first and second levels without any scratches and cracks. But in the last level, the drop didn’t survive the display screen.

Conclusion: In most of the falls, the Mi4c was able to survive. In the last case, it broke down which is unlikely a phone could fall at that height. However, the Xiaomi Mi4c can survive a fall.
