After MIUI 8.1.9.0 update, Xiaomi today started rolling out MIUI 8.2.1.0 Global Stable update for Mi Max (Prime) users in India. It is currently available via Over-the-air (OTA) and is about 1.5GB in size. Users can just head to Updater app and check the updates manually from the path Settings > About Phone > System updates > Check for updates. How to Install MIUI 8.2.1.0 Stable ROM on Mi Max/Prime
Download Mi Max/ Prime latest MIUI 8 ROM from the above download section. If you’re updating via MIUI Recovery ROM, copy the ROM file to device storage. Now you need to launch Updater App and flash the ROM. In case with Fastboot ROM, you need to download & install Mi Flash tool on your PC. Note: If you’re flashing fastboot ROM, make sure to backup all your data as the process erases everything. You can use third party backup app to take backup of contacts, media, documents, etc.
