The Mi Max 2 MIUI 9 update brings version MIUI 9.0.1.0 NDDMIEI and is about 535MB in size. Users can manually check for updates by following the path Settings > About Phone > System updates > Check for update. As it is rolling out in phase manner, users have to wait for couple of days to appear on their device notification bar.
