How to Flash HyperOS OS1.0.12.0.UNIMIXM Fastboot ROM on MIX Flip (Global)
- Download and extract the MIX Flip HyperOS OS1.0.12.0.UNIMIXM Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
- Download and extract Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool on your computer.
- Make sure your MIX Flip’s bootloader is unlocked.
- Power off and boot MIX Flip (Global) into Fastboot Mode by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together until you see the Fastboot logo.

How to Install HyperOS OS1.0.12.0.UNIMIXM Recovery ROM on MIX Flip (ruyi) via Stock Recovery
We can update the MIX Flip (Global) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM HyperOS version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.
While user data is retained when flashing via stock recovery, it’s recommended to backup your MIX Flip (Global) data before installing, in case of accidental data loss.
Follow the steps to install HyperOS OS1.0.12.0.UNIMIXM Recovery ROM on MIX Flip using stock recovery:
