How to Flash HyperOS OS1.0.4.0.UNITWXM Fastboot ROM on MIX Flip (Taiwan)

  1. Download and extract the MIX Flip HyperOS OS1.0.4.0.UNITWXM Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
  2. Download and extract HyperOS Firmware Flashing Tool on your computer.
  3. Make sure your MIX Flip’s bootloader is unlocked.

How to Install HyperOS OS1.0.4.0.UNITWXM Recovery ROM on MIX Flip (ruyi) via Stock Recovery

We can update the MIX Flip (Taiwan) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM HyperOS version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.

While user data is retained when flashing via stock recovery, it’s recommended to backup your MIX Flip (Taiwan) data before installing, in case of accidental data loss.

Follow the steps to install HyperOS OS1.0.4.0.UNITWXM Recovery ROM on MIX Flip using stock recovery:

  1. Download the MIX Flip HyperOS OS1.0.4.0.UNITWXM Recovery ROM zip for Taiwan region.
  2. Rename the zip file to “update.zip” if the name differs.
  3. Transfer the update.zip to the root of your phone’s internal storage.
