Xiaomi announces the second generation of Air Purifier dubbed as Mi Air Purifier 2. It is much compact compared to Xiaomi first Air Purifier announced last year and can be controlled using an application.
The Mi Air Purifier 2 measures just 240 x 520mm and consumes 58% less power compared to the first Mi Air Purifier. Build with 3-layed filter, the purifier removes up to 99.99% of PM2.5 particles and provides 10,000 liters with Clean Air Delivery Rate of 330m3/h in standard mode and 338m3/h in active mode.
The latest Purifier consists of new air pressurization system which adds axial fans, brushless DC monitor and a Francis fan design and conical duct.
Xiaomi has made it smarter by adding WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity which helps the people to connect it with home WiFi networks so that it can be control using an app.
Price of Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2: It has a price tag of 699 Yuan (US$ 109 / Rs. 7,255 approx.) and will be available to purchase starting from November 27th. No details on global availability.
