Xiaomi yesterday announced Mi Mobile MVNO in China along with Mi4C smartphones and Mi Bluetooth Speaker. Mi Mobile service is introduced to make the mobile plans more simple and affordable.
The Mi Mobile supports Unicom 2G/3G/4G networks in China and offers RMB 0.10 per voice min, SMS, 1MB internet, free incoming calls and no roaming anywhere in China. The plans doesn’t include any kind of monthly rental fees. Another plan is priced at RMB 59 per month which provides free 3G data well suitable for long term internet users.
The Mi Mobile SIM comes in all the three different sizes- standard, nano and micro SIMs easily compatible with any of the mobile handsets. Company claims that the Mi Mobile service will be more benefited for business travellers and ISD calls.
It will be more interesting if Xiaomi brings the Mi Mobile plans in India. Let’s hope Xiaomi plans and implement.
