Xiaomi at the MIUI 10 launch event in May this year promised to roll out stable version of its latest iteration of MIUI ROM to range of Mi & Redmi phones sometime in September or October. Fulfilling the promise, the company has started rolling out MIUI 10 Stable update to users in China.
Earlier, they were already leaks suggesting that the MIUI 10 Stable update is rolling out to range of Xiaomi devices including the Mi 6, Mi Note 2, Mi 8 SE, and Redmi Note 5 (Redmi Note 5 Pro in India). But there were no official confirmation from the company. Today, Xiaomi makes this news official via its forums.
Apart from the above list, other devices which are also receiving the latest MIUI 10 Stable ROM update includes the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi S2, Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi MIX, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and Xiaomi Mi 6X.
As usual, the MIUI 10 update is pushed via OTA in a phase-wise manner. So, it might take few days to appear on your device notification bar. Users can also force check latest software update from the path Settings > About Phone > System Update. If available, download and install the software by following the on-screen instructions.

MIUI 10 Global Stable Update coming soon
It is important to note that this stable update is pushed to users only on Chinese ROM, while the Global ROM users might need to wait sometime. There is no exact timeframe for MIUI 10 global stable update, but it won’t take too long. Some of the highlights of the MIUI 10 stable update includes a new full-screen navigation gestures, a powerful and easy to use AI, a naturally pleasing sound system, IoT interconnection, and great improvements over the camera department.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and Mi 8 doesn’t appear in the above list as both the devices are being under beta testing for Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10 ROM. These two devices will receive the stable Android 9 Pie update topped with MIUI 10 at a later time period. Stay tuned!
