How to install MIUI 7 Global Stable ROM 7.1.2.0.LXAMICK on Xiaomi Mi 2/2S
Step 1: Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool and MIUI 7 Global Stable ROM (Fastboot ROM 715MB) on your PC.
Step 2: Turn off the device and enter into fastboot mode (press the volume and power button at the same time to enter). Now you need to connect the device with PC using a micro USB cable.
Step 3: Now decompress the downloaded ROM file by double-tapping on it. Open the file folder for decompresses ROM pack, and copy its path on the PC.
Step 4: Now you need to decompress the flashing tool and install the software on your PC. Once done with the installation, open MiFlash.exe and paste into the address bar the ROM file folder copied in Step 3.
Step 5: From the MiFlash tool, locate the ‘Refresh’ button and tap on it. Now the software automatically recognizes the device and it will be displayed below. Now in order to start the MIUI 7 flashing process, tap on ‘Flash’.
Step 6: Waiting for a while until the progress bar in the MiFlash tool turns entirely in Green color. You will also see the status “The operation completed successfully” once the flashing process is completed.
Step 7: Now your device automatically boots into the new version.
