Xiaomi already rolled out MIUI 7 global beta ROM and OTA updates to all the MI devices running on developer ROM back in August. Now, the Chinese gadgets company has officially announced that it will roll out MIUI 7 global stable ROM and OTA update starting from October 27. The Chinese version of mobiles will also receive the update on the same date. To remind you, the MIUI 7 was unveiled back in August along with the Redmi Note 2 mid-range Android smartphone.
MIUI 7 brings new features and a better experience. Some of the key features of MIUI 7 are Performance Optimization, Optimised battery life, Built-in data saver, Interactive visual response, Showtime, Muse, XXL Text and Child mode.
Xiaomi also made official the list of devices that will be upgraded to MIUI 7 starting from October 27. Xiaomi Mi Note, Mi 4, Mi 3, Redmi 2/Prime, Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi Note 4G, and Mi Pad are the seven devices being included in the list.
Coming to the file size of the OTA update, it varies from model to model and always uses a fast WiFi network at the time of updating your respective smartphones. Also, make sure to be on stable ROM to receive an OTA update notification and charge your handset to a minimum of 60% to complete the entire update process. Users can also manually update their devices by downloading the ROM package from MIUI Downloads page once the stable ROM is officially rolled out.

Yes, surely it will get official MIUI 7 update. But there is no extract time period. We can expect update in the month of December this year.
