Developer Mode is the special feature on Android smartphones specially meant for users who likes using the Android SDK and many other development operations with the phone. It is disabled by default and we have already shared quick guide to enable Developer Options on Xiaomi MIUI phones. It is also mandatory to enable USB Debugging mode whenever you’re flashing custom ROMs, unlocking bootloader, root/unroot, etc. Many users who have already enabled Developer Mode might be looking for tutorial to disable the same. So here we have a quick guide to disable Developer Options on any Xiaomi phone running MIUI 7/8.
Disable Developer Options and USB Debugging on Mi & Redmi phones:
Go to Settings and toggle On/Off button to disable the Developer Options. If you wanted to remove the Developer Options completely, just perform a factory reset on the device.
There is also “Clear data” trick which might not work in all the Xiaomi phones. To do this, go to main settings > All Apps > Settings and then tap on “Clear data”.
That’s it! Now the Developer Options will be successfully removed from your MIUI device.
