Just a couple of months ago, Xiaomi has refreshed its Mi5 lineup with the launch of Xiaomi Mi5s and Mi5s Plus smartphones. Both the handsets packs with some excellent internals at a reasonable price tag. Talking about the Mi5s, it is largely based on the outgoing Mi5, while the Mi5s Plus is the larger version of Mi5s. The Mi5s sports a 5.15-inch display compared to Mi5s Plus 5.7-inch display and both the handsets has 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolutions. Both the devices share some common specs like Snapdragon 821 SoC, 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.0 storage, 4MP selfie cam, USB-C, dual SIM and Quick Charge 3.0.
Xiaomi Mi5s Plus users will be glad to hear that the company has released its first MIUI 8 Global Stable firmware for the device. The firmware has been given the version v8.0.1.0.MBGMIDG. Here we have shared download links of both fastboot ROM and recovery ROM.
