How to Flash MIUI V10.3.2.0.PEAMIXM Fastboot ROM on Mi 8 (Global)
- Download and extract the Mi 8 MIUI V10.3.2.0.PEAMIXM Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
- Download and extract Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool on your computer.
- Make sure your Mi 8’s bootloader is unlocked.
- Power off and boot Mi 8 (Global) into Fastboot Mode by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together until you see the Fastboot logo.

We can update the Mi 8 (Global) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM MIUI version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.
While user data is retained when flashing via stock recovery, it’s recommended to backup your Mi 8 (Global) data before installing, in case of accidental data loss.
Follow the steps to install MIUI V10.3.2.0.PEAMIXM Recovery ROM on Mi 8 using stock recovery:
- Download the Mi 8 MIUI V10.3.2.0.PEAMIXM Recovery ROM zip for Global region.
