How to Flash MIUI V8.5.2.0.MAHCNED Fastboot ROM on Mi MIX (China)
- Download and extract the Mi MIX MIUI V8.5.2.0.MAHCNED Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
- Download and extract Xiaomi ROM Flash Tool on your computer.

We can update the Mi MIX (China) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM MIUI version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.
While user data is retained when flashing via stock recovery, it’s recommended to backup your Mi MIX (China) data before installing, in case of accidental data loss.
