How to Flash MIUI V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI Fastboot ROM on Mi 5s Plus (Global)

Download and extract the Mi 5s Plus MIUI V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
Download and extract Xiaomi Flash Tool on your computer.

Make sure your Mi 5s Plus’s bootloader is unlocked.
Power off and boot Mi 5s Plus (Global) into Fastboot Mode by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together until you see the Fastboot logo.

How to Install MIUI V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI Recovery ROM on Mi 5s Plus (natrium) via Stock Recovery

We can update the Mi 5s Plus (Global) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM MIUI version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.

While user data is retained when flashing via stock recovery, it’s recommended to backup your Mi 5s Plus (Global) data before installing, in case of accidental data loss.

Follow the steps to install MIUI V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI Recovery ROM on Mi 5s Plus using stock recovery:

Download the Mi 5s Plus MIUI V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI Recovery ROM zip for Global region.
