How to Flash MIUI V9.2.4.0.MCECNEK Fastboot ROM on Redmi 4 (China)

Download and extract the Redmi 4 MIUI V9.2.4.0.MCECNEK Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
Download and extract Mi Flash Tool on your computer.

Make sure your Redmi 4’s bootloader is unlocked.
Power off and boot Redmi 4 (China) into Fastboot Mode by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together until you see the Fastboot logo.

How to Install MIUI V9.2.4.0.MCECNEK Recovery ROM on Redmi 4 (prada) via Stock Recovery

We can update the Redmi 4 (China) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM MIUI version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.

While user data is retained when flashing via stock recovery, it’s recommended to backup your Redmi 4 (China) data before installing, in case of accidental data loss.

Follow the steps to install MIUI V9.2.4.0.MCECNEK Recovery ROM on Redmi 4 using stock recovery:

Download the Redmi 4 MIUI V9.2.4.0.MCECNEK Recovery ROM zip for China region.
