How to Flash MIUI V9.5.6.0.OCAMIFA Fastboot ROM on Mi 6 (Global)
- Download and extract the Mi 6 MIUI V9.5.6.0.OCAMIFA Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.
- Download and extract Xiaomi ROM Flash Tool on your computer.

We can update the Mi 6 (Global) firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM MIUI version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.
