- Download and extract the Redmi 2/Redmi 2 Pro MIUI Fastboot ROM on your computer. Make sure to check if the ROM file suffix is “.tgz“. If it is “.gz“, please rename it to “.tgz“.

How to Install MIUI Recovery ROM on Redmi 2/Redmi 2 Pro (wt88047) via Stock Recovery without a PC
We can update the Redmi 2/Redmi 2 Pro firmware via recovery without using computer. However, the Recovery ROM MIUI version must be higher than your current installed version, as downgrading firmware is blocked by Xiaomi.
