Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon users will be happy to hear that the company has started rolling all new MIUI 8 Global Stable ROM update in India. The update is rolled out via OTA (over-the-air) and brings the version MIUI 8.0.1.0.LHOMIDG. If you’re Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 users, then get ready as the MIUI 8 update pop-up will soon appear on your notification bar. Users can also use the Updater app to check for the updates manually.
It just few days’ back Xiaomi released MIUI 8 Global Stable update for its range of devices including Mi2/ Mi2S, Redmi 1S, Mi4i, Redmi Note 4G, and Redmi Note 3G and promised to include more devices in the coming days. Now the Redmi Note 3 users are the lucky ones who are currently receiving the MIUI 8 update.
The update brings all those MIUI 8 features including Dual Apps, Quick Ball, Mi Cloud photo sync, Second Space, Scrolling screenshots, new Calculator, Caller ID, and new ringtones & themes. Do check the following screenshot pictures for complete changelog and features.

How to update: As the update is rolled out via OTA, users just need to use internet connectivity to download the ROM. Once done with download process, a simple reboot is enough to apply the update on your smartphone. Though the upgrade process is free from data loss, it is advisable to perform backup and charge your device well enough to avoid unnecessary power-off.
