Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime is the first “Xiaomi Made in India” smartphone officially launched in India. In this post we are comparing the latest smartphone from Xiaomi with other two budget devices- the YU Yuphoria and Micromax Canvas Express 2 and will find out which among the three is the best.
Display:
The Redmi 2 Prime sports a 4.7-inch display with Dragontrail glass protection while the YU Yuphoria and Micromax Canvas Express 2 comes with 5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. All the three devices has screen resolution of 720 (HD) pixels.
Software and Processor:
The Redmi 2 Prime runs on MIUI 6 top of Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. The Yuphoria and Canvas Express 2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and Android 4.4 KitKat OS respectively. In terms of processor, the Redmi 2 Prime and YU Yuphoria are powered by 1.2GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 410 while the Canvas Express 2 includes 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor.
Camera:
In terms of camera, the Redmi 2 Prime and YU Yuphoria has a 8-megapixels rear facing camera while the Canvas Express 2 packs with 13-megapixels of camera. A 5MP front facing camera has been allocated for YU Yuphoria while the other two devices comes with 2-megapixels.
Memory and Connectivity:
The Redmi 2 Prime and YU Yuphoria comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion. On the other hand, the budget smartphone from Micromax features 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB.
All the three includes the connectivity options like WiFi, USB, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth, etc. and has dual SIM support.

The Canvas Express 2 have a solid 13-megapixels camera and Octa-Core processor while the Redmi 2 Prime and YU Yuphoria have a upper hand in terms of storage and 4G LTE connectivity.
