Xiaomi Redmi 4/ 4A Android 7.0 Nougat Update – Release Date
Xiaomi Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Those who already own this device might be wondering whether it will be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat which is currently the Google’s latest operating system. We already have news that the Redmi Note 4, company’s latest mid-range smartphone launched earlier this year will be upgraded to Nougat firmware. You can also check our list of Xiaomi phones eligible to get Android Nougat update.
As Xiaomi is too lazy in rolling out Android updates and the Redmi 4A being a budget device, we might not see Android N for this smartphone. However, if thing goes better we can expect the update along with MIUI 9 which only happens after Q2 2017.
Stay tuned as we will update once Xiaomi confirms Android N update for Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A smartphones.
