Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, the new smartphone from Xiaomi specs surfaced in a new leak. . The device was spotted last month and has been given the code name Hermes with Xiaomi H3y model number. The following specifications leak came up with popular leakster @upleaks.
According to the @upleaks, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 features a Full HD display with 1920 x 1080p resolutions and is powered with a 64 bit MediaTek MT6795 chipset with octa core processor. The size of the screen display is not available in the leak, but includes other specs like 16GB inbuilt memory, 2GB or 3GB RAM, and will run on MIUI 6 based on Android 5.x Lollipop out of the box. The Redmi Note 2 aka Xiaomi H3Y is expected to have a 13 MP primary camera with Samsung S5K3M2 sensor and a 5 MP front shooter.
The leaks doesn’t revealed the launch and availability of the smartphone. Earlier this month, Xiaomi roadmap for this year was leaked which stated the launch of 4 new smartphones. However this smartphones are given the names Xiaomi Mi 4S, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 2 Pro and Mi5. But there is no words whether this roadmap is for China region or for global release.
