How to Add and Manage Fingerprints on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

1. Firstly, prepare your finger. It should not be in wet condition and been well cleaned.

2. From your device App Drawer launch the Settings.

3. Tap on “Lockscreen & Password” >> “Screen lock & fingerprint”.

4. Now you need to setup a backup password, PIN, or pattern in case the device fails to unlock with your fingerprints.

5. In the next screen, you need to register your fingerprint by placing your finger on the scanner. You need to put and raise your finger several times for successful registration. This process let your device collect different part of your finger and collect its profile in database.

6. Once done, you’ll see a success message being displayed on your Redmi Note 4. You can rename the fingerprint if you wish.

7. Similarly you can add more fingerprints to your device. Enjoy!
