The update is about 710 MB in size and brings the firmware version v7.0.6.0.KXEMICI. It takes a couple of days to be available for all the Mi Note users. Prerequisites:
- The below process is only for the Xiaomi Mi Note Android device. Don’t install the ROM on any other Xiaomi or Android smartphone.
- Though the update process is free from data loss, it is advisable to perform backup of all the important data.
- Charge your device to at least 75% to complete the update process.

How to update Xiaomi Mi Note to MIUI 7 v7.0.6.0.KXEMICI Stable Firmware:
As the update is rolled out via OTA (over-the-air), you can manually go to Updater app and check for updates. You will notice that MIUI 7 v7.0.6.0.KXEMICI update is available to download. Just select the option ‘update now’ and the system will start downloading the latest MIUI 7 update. The device will automatically boot in Recovery mode and flashes the ROM. But make sure to use high-speed internet connectivity like WiFi to avoid unnecessary downloads failure during the update process.
