Xiaomi, the China-based company is all set to debut at the MWC 2016 with the launch of its most awaited flagship smartphone, the Mi 5. The event begins at 9AM CET (1.30PM in India), just couple of hours to go. As already said, the smartphone will be announced today both in China and at MWC 2016. Thanks to various leaks and promotional teasers from Xiaomi we can expect few of Mi 5 specifications and features. According to the leaks, Xiaomi Mi 5 could be launched in multiple variants each differentiated based on its design and display size.
The base variant comes with 5.2-inch 2K display while the other could come with a slightly larger 5.5-inch QHD display. The only specs that is confirmed by Hugo Barra about the new flagship is Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which coupled with coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and comes in different storage options.
The flagship will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of MIUI 7 and includes connectivity like 4G, NFC, Bluetooth and dual SIM support. There might be a 3600mAh battery on the back with fast charging technology.
