Xiaomi already released the Android 9 Pie update for Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite last month, but it’s just a couple of days the Mi A1 was made available for Google’s latest Android operating system.
If you are an owner of Mi A1, Mi A2 or Mi A2 Lite and have upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie firmware, then here we have some important announcement from Xiaomi. This Chinese smartphone giant has a warning notice for users of all these Mi devices.
The notice claims that the users of Mi A1, Mi A2 or Mi A2 Lite should not be rolled back to the previous version of Android in any situation after upgrading to Android 9 Pie. In short, one should not downgrade to Android Oreo after successfully flashing/installing Android Pie firmware.
This is because Android P has brought many irreversible updates to the system, rolling back to previous versions may cause errors and defects, which can have an effect on the normal functioning of your device.
