Xiaomi is all set to announce its first Drone at a special online UAV launch event being scheduled on May 25th. The Drone might feature a camera that can record 4K videos at 30 fps. It is said that the Xiaomi Drone might not come with advanced features that we have seen with the high-end drone makers like DJI.
The poster with a Bamboo-copter also gives an idea that a drone is coming. Earlier we have also seen a patent showing a quadcopter being controlled with a connected wrist band like the company’s Mi Band fitness tracker.
The early rumors said that it would be the cheapest drone pricing just 999 Yuan (US $153 / Rs. 10,280) while the latest one suggests a high-end drone that costs around 3999 Yuan (US $611 / Rs. 41,220 approx.).
Coming back to the live launch event, it will start at 7 PM China time (4.30 PM IST) coming Wednesday on Xiaomi’s website. Stay tuned as we will update once the Drone is officially announced on May 25th.
