As per a recent report, Xiaomi is considered as the most preferred smartphone brand to Indian Android smartphone users. Research firm Strategy Analytics shares a chart where Xiaomi tops the list as the most preferred Brand for next smartphone with 26 percent share, followed by Samsung and Apple with 12% and 6% respectively. Interestingly, the local smartphone manufacturer Micromax was the least preferred smartphone brand with only 2 percent share.
The survey is based on insights from a Strategy Analytics opt-in panel in India of over 2000 participants. Users look for network speed, online availability, chipset performance, camera and resolution as the purchase drivers.

Further, Strategy Analytics smartphone Model Tracker (SMT) program reveals that of 200 top Android smartphone models in India four of Xiaomi phones are ranked under the top-20 list.
Of all Xiaomi models, Redmi devices have a good sales number compared to that of premium offerings. Recently Xiaomi India says that it has sold over 1 million Redmi Note 4 units in just 45 days. Recently launched Redmi 4A also doing well in its initial flash sales.
