Xiaomi Mi 5 is always on talk from last few months considering the design and release date. We have already know the announcement date of Mi 5 i.e. February 24th which has been confirmed officially by Hugo Barra. With only few days left for the most awaiting smartphone, it is getting even hotter. Today, Xiaomi Mi 5 packaging has been surfaced online revealing that the flagship will be offered in 4 different colors options: White, Gold, Pink and Black. The leaks also suggest that the Mi 5 uses metal frame, with oval physical Home button which might also consists of fingerprint scanner on it.
From the above picture, you can see Xiaomi Mi 5 comes in an elongated box in typical Xiaomi fashion. The White color box consists of Mi logo at the top as well as photo of phone in different colors options. Mi 5 in Pink color version surprised us as we were expecting Rose Gold version.
As only the front side of the box is shown, we can’t access specifications of the device being printed on the back. But considering the leaks and rumours, the Mi 5 will sport 5.2-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 8MP front camera, 16MP rear camera, Touch ID and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The leaks also suggest that Xiaomi will announce a total of 4 variants of Mi 5 on Feb 24th. True or not everything will be clear at the time of official announcement which is only few days away from now.
