It’s just yesterday we have shared some leaks of Xiaomi upcoming smartphone i.e. Xiaomi Mi 5X and today we have official confirmation regarding the same. Xiaomi has started sending invites for Mi 5X launch event which is scheduled to announce on July 26th in China. Actor Kris Wu will be ambassador and will promote the phone. Company also confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 5X will be the first device to run on MIUI 9 based Android out of the box.
The following invite image shows actor Kris Wu holding the smartphone which features dual camera setup with dual LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. Apart from this, the phone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4GB of RAM.
Coming to color variants, the Xiaomi Mi 5X is said to launch in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors and is said to cost 1999 Yuan (US$295 / Rs. 19,000).
As MIUI 9 debut with this smartphone, most of you wondering what cool features will be included in Xiaomi’s latest MIUI skin. We might also expect Xiaomi announcing the MIUI 9 at the same event. If this happens, we can soon expect MIUI 9 beta ROM for various supportive Mi & Redmi smartphones.
