It’s just last week, Xiaomi announced its latest flagship smartphone dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 6. Alongside the Mi 6, it was also anticipated that the company might also unveil its larger variant, the Mi 6 Plus. Mi Fans were eagerly waiting to see the announcements of Mi 6 Plus, but the lights went out and the device did not appear. These doesn’t means that the larger flagship variant will not be released by the company.
According to the latest leaks, Xiaomi is already working on its larger Mi 6 variant and will be officially unveiled within two months. Just similar to that of Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus, it also comes with a larger screen and stronger hardware. There is no official confirmation regarding the launch of Mi 6 Plus, but it’s expected that the company might reveal anytime soon.
Coming to the specifications, it’s rumoured the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus sports a 5.7-inch bezel-less screen similar to the Mi Mix. Inside, again Snapdragon 835 will be used along with the 6GB RAM that we have seen in the Mi6. There will be two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB without any further expandable options.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus could be another Xiaomi device to feature dual-camera setup with both 12MP sensors and 8MP front camera. On the software front, it might runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top and with option to upgrade to MIUI 9 once it is released in late summer this year.
At last but not least, there will be a 4,500mAh battery packed inside the device compared to that of 3,350mAh of the Mi6. Considering the price tag, there is no details available but the larger display and high-end camera makes the device expensive than the original Mi6.
To let you know, the Xiaomi Mi6 is already on pre-sale on GearBest online store starting for $599.99. Do refer the below link for more details about the smartphone.
