Xiaomi Mi A1 vs Honor 7X compare

India is currently one of the favourite smartphone market for most of the Chinese Manufacturers including Xiaomi and Huawei. Xiaomi along with Google launched Mi A1 Android One smartphone while Huawei announced the Honor 7X in the mid-range segment. As both the devices have similar kind of specifications, here we have shared camera, specs, & features comparison of Xiaomi Mi A1 vs Honor 7X. So, read on the following to know which one is worth buying?

Xiaomi Mi A1 vs Honor 7X

Design, Display and Processor:

Talking about the design language, the Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a metal unibody design that feels solid in hand too. The rear side looks of Mi A1 comes from the likes of OnePlus 5 and Oppo R11s smartphones. It sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass LTPS display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU on board.

On the other hand, the Honor 7X comes with a metal unibody design with Black Matte Finish texture on the back. The phone is slim, sturdy and offers good grip as well. The Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ration 2.5D curved glass display. With this screen aspect ratio, users can enjoy immersive visual and audio experience. Under the hood, there is a powerful Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with Mali T830-MP2 GPU.

Both the smartphones features Hybrid dual SIM support and an “always active” fingerprint sensor that lets you add up to 5 different fingerprints.

Storage and Software:

On the storage front, the Xiaomi Mi A1 and Honor 7X comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory with an option to expand using a microSD card. Coming to software, the Honor 7X comes with Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1 on top while the Xiaomi Mi A1 ships with stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat firmware.

Camera and Battery:

On the photography point of view, the Mi A1 comes with a 12MP rear camera with wide-angle lens, along with a secondary 12MP camera with telephoto lens. There is a 5MP shooter on the front for selfies and other video calling purposes. It is powered by a 3080mAh built-in battery.

On the other hand, the Honor 7X sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, a secondary 2MP camera, and 8MP front facing camera. A 3340mAh battery provides juice to the device.

Price & Availability:

The Xiaomi Mi A1 comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Red (Limited Edition) colors variants and is priced at Rs. 13,999. On the other hand, the Honor 7X comes in Gold, Black, & Blue color options and is priced at Rs. 15,999.

Conclusion: Both Xiaomi Mi A1 and Honor 7X are value for money smartphones in the affordable price segment. But, considering the display, battery & cameras, the Honor 7X has an upper hand compared to Mi A1.
