Xiaomi on Thursday announced its latest fitness and sleep tracker the Mi Band 2 in China. It comes with new features like OLED display and Heart rate sensor for just 149 Yuan.
Apart from the new display, there are not many changes to the Mi Band 2 compared to the last generation band which has the same built-in heart rate monitor, sports pedometer, sleep monitoring, the phone unlocks, etc. Also, the heart rate monitor gets live tracking when you tap the button below the display.
The Mi Band 2 comes with IP67 ratings for water resistance just similar to that of the first two Mi bands. It also has Bluetooth 4.0 LE and 70mAh Li-on battery which provides 20 days of standby.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 comes in black color with multiple color options for wrist bands including black, blue, green, orange, and others. It is priced at 149 Yuan ($22 / Rs. 1520 approx.) and already available for pre-order on mi.com China. The company will start the shipping of the device starting from June 7th. No plans revealed by the company on the global announcement.
