Xiaomi announced Mi Bunny wearable aimed at children. The watch comes with special built-in features like GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Glonass, and cellular connectivity.
The watch also has Unicom SIM support which lets your kids make and receive calls. In addition, it also has a memory to store contacts of your family members and relatives. A maximum of 12 contact details can be stored. Also, the device is compatible with all smartphones on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or above.
This idea of Xiaomi introducing the wearable for kids is to keep in touch with family members, and also the family members can track their young ones. There is also an SOS button and a ‘security zone’ feature that alerts whenever your child walks too far. All the data including location will be transmitted to the parent’s smartphones which helps them to find their child easily.
There is a 300mAh battery on the back of the Xiaomi Mi Bunny smartwatch which can provide backup for six days. Talking about the pricing & availability, the Mi Bunny smartwatch will be soon available to purchase in China (no details on global availability) for a price tag of 299 Yuan ($46 approx.) in two different color versions – pink and blue.
