Last month, Xiaomi officially confirmed the existence of Mi Max 3 hitting for the July launch. Thereafter the device was trending on top tech sites with leaks and rumors. Today, a new Xiaomi smartphone with model numbers M1804E4A, M1804E4T, and M1804E4C have been certified by the Chinese compulsory certification website TENAA. This would be none other than Mi Max 3, the successor of last year’s Mi Max 2.
Xiaomi Mi Max series smartphones are quite popular for their massive screen display. Considering the TENAA certification listing, it reveals that the upcoming Mi Max 3 will have the biggest display featuring a 6.99-inch full HD display. There are also several other specifications surfaced online through TENAA listing, leaving very little to our imagination.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Specifications
According to the listing, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 sports a 6.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS 2.5D curved glass display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by an Octa-Core, 1.8GHz processor. Measuring 176.15×87.4×7.99mm and weighing in at 221g, the device runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10 and packs in a 5,400mAh battery.
The M1804E4C variant offers 4GB RAM/64GB storage, while the M1804E4T and M1804E4A model numbers offer options like 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage bundles. Further, all three models support microSD card slot for further memory card expansion.
In the camera department, Mi Max 3 is listed to feature a dual-camera setup at the rear with the primary sensor being a 12MP unit. On the front, there will be an 8MP shooter for selfie and other video calling purposes (except the M1804E4C model which has a 5MP front shooter). It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for better security purposes.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Price in India, Availability
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be available in a wide range of colors including Black, Gray, Gold, Rose Gold, Red, and Silver. It will be priced at Rs. 17,000 (approx.) for the base variant while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage might cost up to Rs. 20,000. Taking about the launch date, the 6.99-inch phablet will soon debut to India after its China launch, likely by the end of July or early August. We should expect official images and the announcement date of the phablet very soon.
