Xiaomi on Tuesday launched its latest bezel-less smartphone dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S at an event in Shanghai, China. It is the successor of Mi Mix 2 which was company’s one of the beautiful launches till date. The Mi Mix 2S comes with the same Full Screen display and curved Ceramic design with metal frame which the Xiaomi offered for the Mi Mix 2. There are also several new features that the smartphone packs within including wireless charging, Face Unlock and has high quality cameras. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S – Specs, Features
The Xiaomi latest bezel-less smartphone features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The device has AMOLED display instead of an IPS screen for better colors experience. The flagship smartphone ships with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor which the company confirmed before the official announcement. With such powerful chipset, the device is capable to handle every difficult task threw on it.
Alongside the 8GB of RAM for multitasking, the smartphone comes with internal storage capacity of 256GB without any further memory expansion. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with support for AI voice assistant. The Mi Mix 2s also includes 12MP + 12MP dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording. There is a 5MP front camera below the display.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has ceramic body with an aluminum frame, features fingerprint scanner on the back and has dual SIM support. On the back, there is a 3400mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging as well as wireless charging. It is just 8.1mm thick; weighs 189g and includes connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S – Pricing, Availability
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S comes in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black colors, is priced at 3299 yuan (US$ 527 / Rs. 34,170 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 3599 yuan (US$ 575 / Rs. 37,280 approx.) for the 128GB version and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 3999 yuan (US$ 639 / Rs. 41,420 approx.) which also comes bundled with wireless charger worth 99 yuan (US$ 16 / Rs. 1,025 approx.) that can be purchased separately. It will be available order starting today and goes on sale in China from April 3rd.
