Xiaomi Mi Mix & Mi Note 2 are the company latest flagship smartphones in the Mi series lineup. The Mi Note 2 comes with dual curved display while the Mi Mix has bezel-less display. Many MI India fans might be eagerly waiting for these smartphones to launch in India. But it’s sad to say that Xiaomi has no plans of launching these devices in India. It was made official by Xiaomi itself when one of the fan ask about the Mi Mix & Mi Note 2 announcement in India.
Last year the company didn’t bring couple of other Xiaomi smartphones including the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro in India. It also did not launch the high-end Ceramic black version of the Mi 5 and launched only the base variant.
To remind you, the Mi Note 2 sports a 5.7-inch OLED 3D dual curved glass display while the Mi Mix has bigger 6.4-inch display with 94% NTSC color gamut. Both the devices are powered with Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor, runs on Android marshmallow (MIUI 8), fingerprint scanner, and has dual SIM (nano + nano) support.
On the cameras front, the Mi Note 2 sports 22.56-megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash accompanied with an 8MP front facing camera while the Mi Mix has a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Both the devices shares similar connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes in Piano Black & Glacier Silver colors and is priced at 2799 Yuan (US$ 410 / Rs. 27610 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 3299 Yuan (US$ 486 / Rs. 32550 approx.). On the other hand, the Mi Mix comes in black color and is priced at 3499 Yuan (US$ 516 / Rs. 34530 approx.) for the standard 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage costs 3999 yuan (US$ 590 / Rs. 39,470 approx.).
