Xiaomi alongside Mi Note 2 also unveiled its latest phablet in the Mi series dubbed as Mi Mix. Both the devices were announced at the same “Curved to Impress” event held in Beijing, China.
Coming to the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Mix sports a 6.4-inch (2040 x 1080 pixels) full HD screen with whopping 91.3% screen-to-body ratio and ceramic ratio. Under the hood, there is a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB/6GB RAM.
The phablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top and has dual SIM support. There is 128GB/256GB internal storage options and is powered with 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 feature. It has 16-megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recording, there is a 5-megapixels front facing camera with fingerprint scanner.
The various connectivity options available within the device are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz) MU – MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC. It measures 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9mm; weighs 209g and has fingerprint scanner on the back.
Price and Availability: The Xiaomi Mi Mix comes in black color and is priced at 3499 Yuan (US$ 516 / Rs. 34530 approx.) for the standard 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version while the special edition with 18k carat gold finish version and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage costs 3999 Yuan (US$ 590 / Rs. 39,470 approx.). The phablet is already available to pre-order in China starting from today and goes on sale from November 4th.
