Xiaomi launches its most innovative smartphone, the Mi Mix in South Korea. The device will be sold by G-Mobi, an official local retailer of Xiaomi products at a price tag of KRW 799,000 (Approx. $707). It is currently on a pre-sale while the G-Mobi Korea will starts shipping from April 28th this month.
Launched back in October last year, the Xiaomi Mi Mix features a stunning design which becomes the major highlight of the smartphone. On the display front, it has a 6.4-inch (2040 x 1080 pixels) screen with whopping 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. To deliver better performance, it is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top, has a 16-megapixels rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF and a 5-megapixels selfie camera. The Mi Mix comes in two storage variants – 4GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM/256GB internal storage. However, only the 256G + 6GB RAM variant is available to purchase in South Korea.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the device. It includes a massive 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 feature. The connectivity options available within the handset are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
