Xiaomi, the top Chinese smartphone company is doing well in selling their devices in India. Recently, the company setup a manufacturing plant in India and launched its first made in India mobile dubbed as “Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime”. At the time of entering into Indian market, the device was only available on Flipkart online retailer store through flash sale process. Thereafter Xiaomi launched its own Mi website and android app to made easy shopping for the customers. Now the Chinese mobile vendor is looking to sell the devices offline across various retailers store in India.
The main reason behind Xiaomi being success in India is its service to its customers. The company has setup many service centers across various cities in India. Some of them are in Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Rajasthan, etc. People can easily walk through the service centers and get their mobile repaired (if any issues).

Following are some main points that I observed in
āMIUI 7.0 / 7.0.5.0(KHCMICI) stableā which I want to bring it to your notice.
1) When āPattern lockā is used the wallpaper in lock mode remains hazy which
was ok in old OS.
2) Many more newer themes are available but the customise option is not
available all the time. We are unable to change the components
such as dial pad, lock screen etc.
This is highly erratic thing.
3) In old OS version any ānew SMSā arrived it remained on the screen itself
at bottom half. For example : new message āOTP password is
224567574ā. We can simply close or delete the message without going in to
messages app. This is really a great convenient feature. In the new
version the SMS shows as a number on messaging app and we have to go in to
message app than notifications and then select that particular message.
A highly awkward matter.
4) Similarly in āWhatsappā, the
notification counter shows only 1 even though there are more than 1
messages/chats. This is very strange. In old OS the
notification counter was getting updated as soon as messages/chat arrived.
