Xiaomi at CES 2017 already announced white version of Mi Mix smartphone, today the company unveiled three new color variants of Mi Note 2 i.e., Pink, Green, & Purple variants. Though it’s the first appearance for Xiaomi at CES, it didn’t announce any flagship but currently busy in playing colors game for its already launched smartphones. Both the Mi Mix and Mi Note 2 announced together at an event back in October last year. There is no word when these new Mi Note 2 variants will be available to grab. Just similar to Mi Mix white version, these could also be China-exclusive.
We already seen pink colored Xiaomi device, but the green and purple are really interesting color choices. The Mi Note 2 3D glass design combined with the new colors will give a glossy and ceramic look. The smartphone is already hot-selling product in China and with the launch of various color version it will definitely makes the mind of various people to go with this beautiful device.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 – Details
Talking about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports a 5.7-inch dual-edge flexible OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 qud-core chipset clocking at the rate of 2.35GHz. Just similar to its previous flagships models, it also comes in two variants – 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM plus 128GB storage.
On the cameras front, there is a 22.56-megapixels shooter on the rear side with features like Sony IMX 318 Exmor R sensor, electronic image stabilization, phase detection auto-focus (PDAF), and LED flash. For taking selfies, Xiaomi has allocated a 8-megapixels camera on the front. There is also group selfie optimization feature which takes multiple shots letting you choose the best one.
It includes various connectivity options like USB Type-C, dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC. There is a 4,070mAh battery on the back with Quick Charge 3.0 support. For detailed specifications overview, do check the link here.
