It’s just last week Xiaomi unveiled its high-end smartphone in the Redmi series, the Redmi Pro and today we have rumour that the Chinese giant is working on another high-end flagship device which could be announced on 16th August.
Earlier they were already rumours that the Xiaomi Mi5s and Mi Note 2 flagship devices will be released together in the second half of 2016. But considering the above news, it looks like Mi Note will be released in this month itself.
According to a post on Weibo, Xiaomi will introduce the Mi Note 2 on August 16th. The post also states that the device will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which makes the Mi Note 2 to become second in the list to include SD821 CPU after the powerful Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe.
To let you know, Xiaomi today launched two new smartphones in India – the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime. Both the devices are one and the same apart from the storage versions, the Redmi 3S has 2GB RAM + 16GB storage while the Redmi 3S Prime has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The other specs includes a 5-inch HD display, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU, MIUI 7 (Android 6.0 Marshmallow), fingerprint scanner, 13MP rear camera (5MP front camera), 4G VoLTE and 4100mAh battery.
These rumours are unverified so we should remain sceptical until further information surfaces officially. Are you excited for the release of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flagship, do leave a comment below.
