Xiaomi Mi Note users get ready to experience the Google latest operating system i.e. Android 6.0 Marshmallow starting from this week. According to the source, Mi Note will receive official Marshmallow 6.0 OTA update this week. This is something to cheer about as the company is always lazy in providing latest updates for its high-end smartphones and tablets.
Last month, we already have news that Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for few Xiaomi devices namely Mi 4, Mi 3 and Mi Note are under final testing stage. Now it seems that it has done with the final test and all set to release the update for Xiaomi Mi Note starting from this week.
The reports claims that the Mi Note 3GB RAM variant will get Marshmallow 6.0 update along with MIUI 7. It is also said that the Developer Edition of Mi Note also received the Android 6.0 update based on MIUI 7 and it is still unclear whether it is development ROM or the final one. Company also released Marshmallow preview for Mi Note users in China in order to recognise bugs and fixed them by rolling OTA updates regularly.
Apart from Mi Note, other Xiaomi devices to be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow are Mi 3 and Mi 4. The update for these devices is also under final stages. So, we can soon expect official 6.0 update soon after Mi Note.
