Xiaomi Mi4C which was leaking a lot in the past few days has finally announced at an event in China. It is the latest Android phone in the Mi4 series and the successor of Mi4i with more powerful specs and features. Majority of the specifications of Xiaomi Mi4C launched in the earlier leaks, but let’s a detailed look over it.
Xiaomi Mi4C Full Specifications and Features:
The Mi4C features a 5-inch Full HD IPS fully laminated 441 PPI ‘Sunlight’ display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, there is a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor with Adreno 418 GPU.
It will be offered in two different storage variants- 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. It runs on MIUI 7 on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Check here for the list of Xiaomi devices getting MIUI 7 update.
It includes Quick Charge 2.0 feature which means you can charge your device faster than the usual charge. There is Type-C USB 3.0 Port at the bottom of the device and also includes a 3080mAh battery on the back.
On the Cameras front, there is a 13-megapixels rear facing camera with Sony IMX258 or Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, and two-tone LED Flash. To take better Selfies, a 5-megapixels camera is being allocated on the front with 85-degree wide-angle lens. The device measures 138.1 x 69.6 x 7.8mm and weighs 132 grams.
With 4G LTE connectivity on top, it also adds 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. The double tap to wake the screen and ‘Edge Tap’ technology lets you go back with double tap & take quick selfie with single tap are the two new features you will see in the latest Mi handset. It comes equipped with an infrared sensor that lets you control your TV, DVR and other appliances.
Price & Availability:
The Xiaomi Mi4C is priced at 1299 Yuan (US$ 204 / Rs. 13,370 approx.) for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage version and 1499 Yuan (US$ 235 / Rs. 15,445 approx.) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. It comes with four different color options- White, Yellow, Pink and Blue. The device can be purchased in China starting from tomorrow, September 23rd on Mi.com and Tmall.com online stores. The company didn’t revealed the global roll out of the handset.
