Xiaomi has done pretty well in launching a lots of Mi smartphones this year, but the company is still making people to wait for its 2015 flagship smartphone, the “Xiaomi Mi5”. It almost a year and half Xiaomi launched its previous flagship Mi4. Xiaomi has seen a big figures in terms of sales number of Mi4 which will be the same target for the upcoming Mi5. Till date we have a lot of rumors of Mi5 considering the specifications, release date, and features. Today another new rumor pop-ups, read on to know.
If you remember, Xiaomi Mi4 was launched for $320 for the 16GB variant, and the 64GB variant was unveiled for $400 in China. According to the sources, the upcoming Xiaomi flagship Mi5 will include the same launch pricing of Mi4. So, the device will be available starting from $320 for the 16GB variant. If the rumors comes true then Xiaomi Mi5 would be world best smartphone pricing around $320.
Looking to the earlier rumors, the Mi5 will feature a 5.2-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display and will be officially announced in the month of November or December. It sports a 4GB of RAM and comes in different storage variants. The flagship might be powered with Snapdragon 820 or Helio X20 processor and includes a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The leaks also reveals Mi5 running on MIUI 7 on top of Google Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS at the time of announcing the handset. Coming to the design, it is still unclear whether it will be adopting all metal design or a combination of metal and plastic.
Apart from Xiaomi Mi5, there is another handset dubbed as “Mi Note 2”, receiving a lots of rumors in the past few weeks. It is Xiaomi upcoming 5.7-inch phablet rumored to feature all metal design. The rumors also adds the device to the list of November launch where company is already planning to unveil its 2015 flagship phone.
