Xiaomi officially enters into the Russian market with launch of their popular Android smartphones – the Xiaomi Mi Mix, Mi Note 2 and Redmi 4X. Earlier the company was selling their products in the country for about 6 months through partnering with distributor RDC. April 25, 2017 i.e. today was the official event where the company launches their latest devices in Russia. Xiaomi’s senior VP Wang Xiang was taken initiative at the launch event.
After its official launch in Russia, now it has more than 20 countries and regions where its products are available to purchase. Some of them are Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, UAE, and more. Of all the countries, India is most favorite for this Chinese smartphone vendor. Recently it also announced its plans of entering into US smartphone market.
Price and Availability: The Xiaomi Mi MIX 18K (6GB + 256GB), Mi Note 2 (6GB + 128GB) and Redmi 4X are priced at 39,990 rubles (US$ 701 / Rs. 45,059 approx.), 34,990 rubles (US$ 613 / Rs. 39,425 approx.) and 19,990 rubles (US$ 350 / Rs. 22,520 approx.), respectively. All three devices will be available on RDC’s official website, and in Mi authorized stores starting from April 26.
