Xiaomi yesterday announced Redmi 3 Pro Android smartphone in China in its “Redmi” series. The device is the successor of Redmi 3 with improvement over design and few hardware specifications. Xiaomi this time introduced fingerprint scanner on Redmi 3 Pro which was missing in its predecessor. It has 32GB of internal storage compared to Redmi 3 16GB, both devices includes microSD card slot for memory expansion. Display & Processor

The Redmi 3 Pro has smaller display of 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) compared to Redmi Note 3 & Redmi Note 2 5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) display. All the three devices runs on MIUI 7 custom ROM based on Android OS.

Under the hood, the Redmi 3 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core CPU, the Redmi Note 3 has a Snapdragon 650 hexa-core CPU and finally the Redmi Note 2 is powered with MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core SoC.

Cameras and Storage

All the three Redmi devices sports a 13-megapixels rear facing camera with Flash and has a 5-megapixels front facing camera for taking Selfies and other video calling purposes. On the storage front, all these device includes 32GB of inbuilt memory which can be further extended using a microSD card.
