Xiaomi is all planning to launch a new budget Redmi smartphone in the upcoming days. According to the reports, the smartphone could be the Xiaomi Redmi 6, the successor of last year’s Redmi 5. Ahead of the launch, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 pops up on the Chinese certification website TENAA revealing few of the specifications and features. To remind you, Xiaomi Redmi 5 series smartphone where first announced in China back in December last year and the same devices goes globally in February this year. So, it’s really surprising to see successor of Redmi 5 pretty soon.
On TENAA, the purported Xiaomi Redmi 6 has been listed under the model number “M1804C3DE”. The listing also confirms that the smartphone will feature a 5.45” display with an 18:9 aspect ratio (assumed ratio) and a 3000mAh battery. Comparing to Redmi 5, the Redmi 6 features relatively smaller display and battery. The listing also reveals the phone will support most of the bands, so the device is likely to go global at near future.
Although, the listing doesn’t include the pictures of Redmi 6, but thanks to a separate leak we get to know more about the smartphone. The upcoming Redmi smartphone will feature a notch on the display which is very trendy these days. On the back, it includes dual rear cameras with LED flash and a fingerprint scanner.
We expect more details about the Redmi 6 popping-up in the coming days, so stay tuned!
