Xiaomi, the China-based company recently launched the Redmi Note 3, its latest phablet in the ‘Note’ series. The highlights of the device is its competitive price tag, full metal build, 4000mAh battery, and fingerprint sensor. With inclusion of fingerprint scanner and full metal body, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has become the first Mi smartphone to include that features. Along with the phablet, Xiaomi also unveiled the Mi Pad 2 and Mi Air Purifer 2 at the same event.

To remind you, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 flaunts a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution and is powered with MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core chipset clocking at the speed of 1.7GHz.
As already said, the phablet comes with fingerprint sensor, full metal build and a 4000mAh battery. The other specifications includes a 13MP of rear camera, 5MP of front camera, MIUI 7 OS on top of Android 5.1, 2GB/3GB of RAM, and dual SIM (micro) support. It comes in two different storage variants- 16GB and 32GB which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It measures 149.9 x 75.9 x 8.7mm and weighs 165.9 grams.
Coming to the pricing and availability, the Redmi Note 3 is currently available only in China. The company didn’t announced any plans of launching the device across various other countries (mostly probably Asia) at the time of announcement on November 24th. This will be big disappointing for its Mi fans all around the globe.
