Xiaomi on Thursday launched its third ‘Make in India’ smartphone dubbed as “Xiaomi Redmi Note 3” in India starting from Rs. 9,999. The device was first announced in China back in January this year for 999 Yuan.
It is surely a powerful smartphone in the mid-range segment for which most of the Mi Fans of India were waiting for. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 – Specs, Features
Talking about display, it features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with 178-degree viewing angle and has dual SIM support. It comes in two different storage variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. Under the hood, there is a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with Adreno 510 graphics.
For taking better pictures, Xiaomi has introduced 16-megapixels main camera with key features like PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording, and 120fps slow-motion. On the front there is a 5-megapixels selfie camera.
The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top and includes various connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS. It measures 150 x 76 x 8.65mm and weighs 164g.

The Redmi Note 3 comes in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold color versions and is priced at Rs. 9,999 for 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and Rs. 11,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. It will be available starting from March 9th at 2PM in the first flash sale on Mi.com and Amazon.in. It will be available through other online channels such as Snapdeal and Flipkart and also offline soon.
